PT Information System (PTIS) Overview

PTIS is offered in two versions (1) Just Billing, and (2) Billing and Practice Management. Just Billing supports smaller practices that need a good billing system with minimal data tracking and reporting. Billing and Practice Management supports larger practices with more extensive data tracking and reporting needs. Electronic billing can be ordered with either version of PTIS.
• PTIS Billing Options

HCFA 1500 and UB92 insurance billing is included. Multiple printing formats are available to support the special requirements of the various carriers and states. Electronic billing is available for HCFA 1500 claims only.

Patient Statement Formats:
Full responsibility: Bill patient for all activity on the account.
Fixed Co-pay: Automatically bill patient a fixed amount for each visit.
Percentage billing: Bill patient for a percentage of all charges.
Leftover amounts from insurance: Bill patient for amounts not written-off or paid by insurance.
