• Viewing Account Financial Information
The Account Financials window provides both summary and detailed information on a patient account. Detail views are available for charges, payments, claims, and the account ledger page.
•Viewing Charges and Adjustments(+) On An Account
The Charges tab shows detail on each account charge. By right clicking a charge, a menu of options is presented as shown below. Modifications, deletions, and viewing the system audit trail is controlled by the permissions granted to each user.
• Viewing Payments and Adjustments(-) On An Account
The Payments tab shows detail on each account payment or write-off. Write-offs are colored code in blue for easy viewing. By right clicking a payment, a menu of options is presented as shown below. Modifications, deletions, and viewing the system audit trail is controlled by the permissions granted to each user.
•Viewing Claims On An Account
The Claims tab shows detail on each claim on the account. Secondary claims are colored coded in blue for easy viewing. By right clicking a claim, a menu of options is presented as shown below. Options on the menu are controlled by the permissions granted to each user.
• Claim Activity Summary
By clicking the “Claim Activity Summary” button (or double clicking a claim), you can quickly trace each claim through its insurance billing cycle (primary and secondary coverage results). Note the claim detail buttons on the activity summary which quickly pull-up the charge detail of each claim. The activity shown below is for the selected claim, the one highlighted in green.
•Collections Support – Selecting Which Payer(s) to Review
An automated tool is available to provide paperless collection support for insurance payments. You select how to focus on outstanding claims by making the choices shown below. You can select all insurance payers or any single payer to review.

All information needed for telephone follow-up on unpaid claims is at your finger-tips. Notes on each claim or on the account can be entered or read. Claims can be re-billed immediately.
