• Navigation
MedBill Professional uses the standard Windows drop down menus and
tool bar as shown here. When your mouse pointer points to a button
on the tool bar, a help caption pops up to tell you what the button
does. In the example below, the mouse pointer is pointing to button
3, the “Find Patient Account” button. The underlined number
or letter on each button is a Windows accelerator key. This allows
you to click each button with a keystroke rather than the mouse. |

Menus
The drop-down menu selections use the same picture icons as their
corresponding tool bar button. This helps users become accustomed
to the quickest way to access a given MedBill Pro function. For example,
when the “Modify/View” menu item is clicked, the pictures
on the drop-down menu correspond to tool bar button that executes
the same command. |

Patient Account Information
MedBill Professional’s patient account information window pulls
up all patient information for quick access. A MedBill Pro account
can be setup for a single patient, or for multiple patients from the
same family. Each patient can have multiple “Clinical Cases”
– that is injuries or illnesses with different diagnoses and
insurance coverage. Convenient tabs separate the account information. |
|
Clinical
Case Information
The four clinical case tabs provide diagnostic, insurance, and billing
information for each of the patient’s clinical cases. Patients
can have multiple cases active at the same time. Each case can be
billed under different insurance and with different fee schedules
when necessary. |

Case
Insurance Information
The Case-Insurance tabs present the primary and secondary insurance
information. Shown below is primary insurance payer information on
the selected case. Note that multiple mailing addresses are maintained
for the insurance companies. |

Case
Billing Setup – Key Dates
Multiple fee schedules allow you to bill each case as is appropriate
for the insurance coverage. The Line Of Business is used for reporting
purposes. It allows you to categorize your practice and report billing
and revenue under the categories you select. Co-pays, deductible,
visit limits, re-certification dates, and benefit limits can be entered
and tracked. |
